Résumé:
Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is a non-invasive method to study brain chemistry in vivo. As such, it is a critical tool for increasing our understanding of the human brain, both in healthy people as well as clinical disorders. In this talk, I will discuss my work applying MRS to study brain chemistry in typically developing youth, as well as highlight the effects of altered brain chemistry, using pediatric migraine as an example. Lastly, I will talk about newly emerging functional MRS methods and my work using these methods to assess the relationship between brain chemistry and cognition in healthy adults.
